KTET Multi-Sensory Room
The room is designed for kids with special needs contains a full spectrum of Sensory Integration modules designed to cover all requirements of children development.
Building two hideaway units with tunnel and shelving out of upcycled wooden materials. The room also provide sensory integration elements such as: Laser projector of the night sky, sensory matt with led lights, clear tubing with colourful fluids, blackboard, different textures of material used on walls and inside boxes.
Materials used for the project: 3 boxes, 2 crates and 6 pallets has been used to build the structure, Artificial grass, PVC perspex, CDs, bubble wrap, foil, tubes, pieces of clothes and blinds used for this project.
Over 11 unused wooden units were remanufactured into new school Multi-sensory room fit-out, 500 kg of material was diverted from the waste stream
